Job Description

As a Pelorus project manager, you will take ownership of driving projects focused on the selection, analysis, and implementation of MS Dynamics ERP systems and solutions directly relating to client needs and business processes. The project manager is responsible for ensuring scope is delivered according to required schedule, budget, benefits, and quality standards. The role will lead and manage a wide variety of projects with complex scope and scale that requires participation and collaboration from a different partners, vendors, consultants, and developers to successfully deliver. 

Requirements & Responsibilities

  • Experience with DevOps is a must!
  • Manages all aspects of the project lifecycle to ensure successful delivery.
  • Work with the sales team as the contract is signed, becoming familiar with contract requirements, program modifications, and other site-specific background information.
  • Develop the implementation project plan and officially start projects by conducting kick-off meetings with clients and sales representatives.
  • Manage the implementation team to maximize performance and deliver expected revenue goals.
  • Oversee the professional development, education, and scheduling of the implementation consultants assigned to your team.
  • Conduct planning sessions with the client’s key functional leaders to create a series of documented management plans that specify the project plan and scope.
  • Schedule resources, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress to ensure compliance with the project plan, immediately notifying affected parties of any schedule changes.
  • Provides status reports; analyzes report results and troubleshoots problem areas. 
  • Understands how to communicate difficult and sensitive information tactfully.  Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors.
  • Proactively manages changes in project scope. Identifies any potential crisis or issues and devises contingency plans to mitigate concerns.
  • Upon project completion conduct meetings with clients to ensure a smooth transition of services from implementation to support.
